ICEP Miami | A Church For The Community

Our Story

In 2011 we celebrated our 50th year anniversary as a Church.

ICEP Miami was first founded in 1962 by Pastor Gabriel Carides. Now we are lucky enough to be located in such an urban area within this diverse city. Though Pastor Carides founded ICEP, most of our 50 years have been served under the leadership of the late Pastor Roberto Garrido. It was then in 2011 when our current Pastor, Juan Valdes and lovely wife Daisy Valdes (daughter of Pastor Garrido) continued to take ICEP in its bold direction forward.

These past few years have been a tremendous blessing as we continue to strive to new heights. We have revived many ministries, and also began new ones. We are also putting much effort in renovating our 50 year old building.

By God's grace our church has stood strong even in tough times. We've also been blessed enough to found dozens of sister churches and prepare hundreds of servants for Christ, all throughout this and many others countries. We've taken notice that we are a church that properly trains men and women to be good and faithful servants in God's kingdom.

This is a new and exciting time to join us here at ICEP, where you'll be more than welcome to help us continue glorifying God in this city.

Our Mission

Our mission as a church in this community is to Fellowship, Worship, Serve, and Save.

FELLOWSHIP | A healthy church can only exist when the body of Christ is working together in love. We take to heart what's revealed in Philippians 2:2 when Paul states "Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose."

WORSHIP | Our hearts pour out to God as we worship Him, and at ICEP expect to have a great time doing so. We may be a small church, but we know how to make the walls shake in our time of worship. Yes we like to have fun, but we also tone it down to worship God with our hearts from the inside out, and above all with our life. Scripture tells us in John 4:24 "For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.”

SERVE | God not only wants to save us, but He calls us to actively serve towards His Kingdom. Not sure what you can do to help? Not to worry, we offer several different opportunities to serve God in a multitude of ways. Ephesians 4:12 tell us at ICEP our responsibility "Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ."

SAVE | God is calling out the lost. Who will listen in this corrupt world we live in? It may be difficult for someone to accept Christ into their life, but we are here to ensure God's voice be heard in this community, and do all that is possible to save the lost. Jesus gave us this Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20 "Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
